The Proctor Covert Belt is the result of 3 years of testing and is designed to create a highly capable yet minimalist belt solution for all of my needs. I have used this belt for everything that I do in regards to everyday life and shooting. It started as a need to carry extra gear and magazines for concealed carry, but I also wanted something that worked well for combat carry and competition use as well. I am very happy with the results. As mentioned before, I use this belt every day for my concealed carry needs and also use it on the range, at USPSA matches, and for duty and CQB use.
Here are some of the features and why:
1.5" width and narrow thickness- I wanted a belt that I could wear with any type of pants and be able to get in and out of the belt loops easy. The thick 1.75" belts didn't fit everyday pants all that well.
The B.E.L.T. is made from lightweight, flat black nylon webbing (the same material as my sling)
The sides have a stiffener where you would wear an OWB holster or external mag pouches. The stiffener works great to prevent holster torque. I left the stiffener out of the back of the belt for comfort.
Elastic mag pouches are built into the belt for covert/concealed carry. There are 2 pistol mag pouches up front and a pistol and rifle mag pouch on both sides behind the hip. This configuration gives the user options to carry a pistol mag up front appendix style or behind the hip. I use one of the front ones for my light and it makes it very accessible with my support hand during the draw. The B.E.L.T. is also designed for right or left handed shooters. The elastic is heavy duty 4 way stretch elastic. The inside of the mag pouches have a backing on the nylon side that prevents the magazines from sliding out while moving around. All pistol magazine pouches will support loaded double and single stack magazines during dynamic movements. All rifle magazine pouches will support loaded 30 round AR-15 magazines during dynamic movements.
There is a small velcro pouch in the rear/small of the back area for whatever small items or cash you might need to keep concealed.
I designed the B.E.L.T. with plastic D-ring buckles for a couple of reasons. The D-rings fold flat and low profile ( I have found other belt buckles to protrude when carrying appendix). The plastic D-rings are non-marring and allow me to keep my belt on going through the airport now.
LIKE ALL FP SHOOTING GEAR THE B.E.L.T. IS MADE IN THE USA!

Extremely awesome belt. Not easy to reholster mags, so not the ideal way of carrying mags for a day of training. Perfect for carrying mags in the real world though. Extremely well thought out. Frank hit another home run.
Solid purpose based purchase
This is a great belt. Holds several magazines firmly and tight to the body; while maintaining a low profile appearance. For potential buyers I recommend you consider what you need. I believe that most who truly contemplate their need will make this purchase. I bought this belt and a holster. That's all I need for an average every day carry. My recommendation to the company is to consider making a left hand oriented version. I have more mag slots on my left, where I don't need them, than on my right where I could use them. That's not a knock on the product. It's got all I need as is. I'm just being greedy, because when I got it good I reach for more.
I purchased this belt almost two years ago to the date. I'm going to buy a new one only because the one I have is worn out! Used this belt every single day since it arrived and could not be happier. One of, if not the best thought out belts I have ever seen and worn. If you carry a firearm in or outside the waistband look no further. The built in elastic straps elinlminate the need for extra carriers like mag pouches. This is the one belt to rule them all! Like I said the only reason I will be purchasing a new one is because the one I have is a little ragged. I have never done that to any other belt!
So yeah. This belt can do it all when it comes to tactical stuff.....holds mags, pistols, flashlights, knives and whatever else your creative mind can come up with.....comfortably. It even has a little stash pocket....but more importantly, to me anyway, it holds up your pants better than any other belt I've tried. Quality gear. Give them your money. You won't be disappointed.
As billed, a legit piece of gear.
This belt is exactly as billed. It is a low profile and lightweight belt suitable for covert carry of spare magazines and other assorted equipment. This is not a substitute "duty" or "war" belt, unless you are serving in a covert capacity, in which case it would be the ticket. I have been using it for off duty carry of a spare G-19 magazine, Protac 1L and SWAT-T, my G-19 AIWB. The buckle provides a lower profile than my beloved tow straps. Good product Frank Proctor.
Just got the belt and wear it for EDC. Stiff where it counts for support but still flexible. Took it to the range and glock mags fit great in the magazine inserts. Wish I had found this belt sooner.
Comfortable & Functional
This belt is way more comfortable than your standard stiff and thick gun belt, yet still manages to hold your gun and holster without issue. The pockets for extra mags, flashlights, edc blades, etc... are awesome as well. I no longer use a spare magazine carrier because one of the pockets on the belt can do that job just fine and conceal just as well. This is a good product that was well thought out. Buy with confidence
Good CCW belt
I tried the BELT because the buckle of my regular gun belt sticks way out when I carry in the appendix mode. This belt is an improvement. It is very light and surprisingly stiff. I ordered a size large than I thought I would need and I am glad I did. The velcro on this belt is not this never ending velcro road like on rigger belts. So sizing is somewhat critical. I am sort of in between on the sizing chart so I went bigger and I think that was the right choice. The mag holders for pistol are very grabby so they grip well. Getting the mag out quickly is another matter. It take a stout pull to get them out. But you don't have to worry about them falling out. I have not tried a flashlight or the AR mag holder yet. One concern I had was that the belt would get tighter as magazines are added to the belt. It does not, so that is not an issue. I have not run the belt completely thru its paces but so far it is light comfortable and it performs as advertised. OK Frank, You are 2 for 2. Your G19 connector and spring are winners as well. Next buy; the IWB holster.
