Proctor Y Notch Sights are designed to be Fast Accurate Easy. The main premise behind the design is allowing fast easy vision with less room for sight misalignment. The Y shaped notch allows fast vision and target acquisition and makes it very easy to visually center the front sight in the rear notch for optimal sight alignment. The contrast between the black rear sight and fiber optic front sight allows shooters eyes to process information extremely fast. The sights have a black nitride finish, which is extremely corrosion and rust resistant and also provides very nice visual definition to the sights.
These sight sets have been thoroughly tested and provide POA=POI when installed and USED properly.
Fits all M&P 9mm and .40 cal pistols including shield, 1.0 and 2.0

Put them on a 2.0 compact. Never used Proctor sights before, but they're pretty awesome. Put the dot in the Y and you're ready to rock. Use the bottom of the front sight post and line it up in the lower square part of the notch and you have precision sights. Just a simple, well executed idea. The ledge on the rear sight has no issue catching on a belt or holster for all your 1-handed action guy drills. Front sight is just the right length to gather light in the fiber optic line without being one of those super long goofy sights. Nice to see a set of sights developed by some dialed-in end users.
These sights are awesome. I like them better than big dots for ccw. I feel they are very fast and accurate. Installation was a little difficult, all three of the sight tools my local shop had could not install the rear sight with out damage. A vice and brass punch did the trick. I would recommend getting the wotg sight upset or using a square aluminium punch for best results.
Just as advertised
If you've watched some WOTG videos on these sights and read the description, then you know what to expect. The front fiber optic is very bright and nestles perfectly into the rear sight. Be sure to watch Frank's video on installation, the FO kind of seats into the front sight to give that perfect sized dot. Love this sight picture.
