The newest version of the Frank Proctor Sling is a product of over 20 years of shooting a carbine as profession and a passion.  During my career in the US Army Special Forces I found existing slings to be lacking in features needed to make working with a carbine easier.  I designed my original sling to meet those needs.  Light weight, low profile, low bulk, simple, low cost, sling management, adjustability, included mounting hardware and more.  The FP V5 Sling has all those features and more.  The FP Sling V4 also uses a different type of webbing that is lighter than the previous design and adjust slightly easier.   The FP V5 Sling comes with FP sling attachment loops that allow you to attach the sling to a variety of firearms without the bulk or expense of QD swivels. Primarily designed to be attached closer to the receiver and the back of the stock to allow maximum retention and maneuverability of the carbine.  

The FP V5 Sling  is modular in design and allows the use of optional (not included) QD swivels and a padded section for extremely heavy firearms.
