This is a 1 day course designed for intermediate to advanced level shooters.  Preferably alumni from one of my courses but other accomplished shooters are welcome.  This course is designed to be fairly fast paced and offer concepts and exercises to help shooters develop the hard skills necessary to win in more dynamic shooting situations such as competitive shooting but many of the concepts are transferable to advanced development as a combat shooter.  The course will absolutely REQUIRE SAFE GUN HANDLING HABITS as we will be moving alot.  The course will start with a safety brief and then a short overview of the Fundamentals of Fast.  We will do some warm up exercises and then confirm that we can fire accurate shots, accurate shots at speed then some shot calling at speed.  We will progress through and put reps in on some exercises that will help develop hard skills necessary to win in dynamic performance shooting environments.

Expected Goals:

More points in less time

Improve target transitions

Faster visual processing speed

Refined movement techniques and mechanics

EQUIPMENT:

Carbine - 5.56 or PCC. A  sling is recommended but make sure it allows for safe rapid movement.

OPTICS: magnification is not needed for this course.  In the case of LPVO something with true 1X magnification is preferred. Fixed magnification such as 3x only or 4x only is not recommended.

2 magazines (more is fine)

Belt mounted magazine pouch would be recommended but not required

Plate carriers and armor are not necessary but bring them if you wear them for work etc. and we can make sure they allow for optimal work with the gun.

AMMO:

In this course we will be putting in a lot of reps on the hard skills in order to actually train and develop proficiency and ability, that means you are going to shoot a lot.  Bring ammo, better to have it and not need it.  I'd recommend 1000 rounds just in case.

PERSONAL ITEMS:  Standard range items apply such as eye and ear protection.  Bring anything else you need to sustain yourself and equipment for a day on the range.  Courses may be indoor or outdoor so plan accordingly.

CLASS TIMES are typically 9-4 with some variations.
